One that works without patches and one that works with both. We don't HAVE too, but if we could I could go to bed tonight without stayingup so late checking. Ah well, aslong as this gets done and it works, I don't mind waiting.

I knew it wouldn't be long before someone went down that road. whats another day, just be patient like everyone else

I guess you still have them in ISO. Lucky you.

haha yea, at first i was like ohhh shit, i need to download them all again. but i still ahd all the rar files in my download folder

That was the smart thing to do. I kept my games on here cause I knew something like this would happen. I can understand that you need the space if you deleted it, but you still could've kept the .rars. lol
Well for me I almost filled my hard drive, and I have a 500gb HD.

Harm your wii? WTF it is software. Software could brick your Wii but that is easily repaired.

hahaha exactly.

correct me if im wrong but

the loader cant really "harm" the wii. it could if you installed it with a wad and fucked up somewhere, but if its just in the HBC the worst it could do is crash your wii. and besides a brick can be fixed in a second.

Not if someone coded something that deletes an IOS to be an asshole.

Keep in mind the original DS bricker. We'd all like to think everyone in the scene is honest, but I don't trust anything unless it comes directly from the author.

How would it take you a few minutes to reinstall an IOS considering bootmii isn't even out yet??

true, bootmii isnt out yet, but you dont need it to reinstall an IOS.

just use starfall and use the "load debug menu with Y on startup" option on your wii and your safe if you get bricked.

and ive only been on the psp scene, not the ds one so i have no idea what youre talking about when you said the original ds bricker

I stopped reading this thread around page 50. So now there is a new version in private beta? I'm ok with that. Nothing wrong with things not getting leaked. So .ISO's no longer need to be patched? But ones that are patched will still work? Will there be any difference between and patched ISO disc and a unpatched ISO disc? Speed or anything? I don't want to read all the other ~8 pages so anything else I missed.

isos dont need to be patched

ones that are patched; some still work, some wont, but there working on it

i asked that same question about the difference between patched and unpatched, mc and i were thinking that unpatched would be faster because its closer to the original.

Thanks for the very quick reply. Also I don't need the DVDx anymore?

This is gonna be an exciting couple of days from what I can see on here. LOL

Where were you when Nelson Mandela was freed?

Where were you when The Berlin Wall came down?

Where were you when the Backup Loader update came out?

Yeah IMHO we should just forget the saga of patched games and move on. Why use up time when there really no longer needed. Please don't some of you lynch me for saying. LOL

I know this is useless, it's not going to be needed anymore because no one is going to be stupid enough to waste time patching games and there are only a few people out there who don't have the original ISO's, which means if they don't then they are pirates

Also I am sure they could find a way to get an original ISO since they have done it before.

Just my 2 cents!

I'm just excited. I know it'll only play my backups, but still....I have some hacking stuff I want to do for some of my games, that can only be with backups. Ah well. ONE more day won't hurt. Only reason I wanted it tonight cuz I can't play games on teh weekdays.

Well it's still trouble for people to rip their games again. I just hope the ones I already burned will still work, if not I suppose I could acquire them again.
Edit:Wow "121 User(s) are reading this topic" that's like one for every page (almost).

i hope nintendo is ready to have their servers overloaded with a ton of SSBB and MK usersat once.
What? Usersat what?
Users at.
Oh god I'm retarded. Also can we go online with the new loader?
I'll second your self analysis. From what weve heard yes. wifi issues were due to load time, which has been dramatically improved

With the improved load speeds, it seems so, yes.

Edit: lol typing on the Wii with my left hand b/c my right wrist is broken so I was like 2 posts behind. Damn this topic is active, hehe.
