With so many other people having great success, it's much easier for you to deny your failure than for you to accept you probably fucked up somewhere down the road... It's also very hard for the few in your situation to accept that this is a beta release and that some issues are expected. But to completly dismiss this release as crap is not only foolish but ignorant. You realise not how priviliged you really are to even have this release.

I don't even need to inform others to disregard your ridiculous statement above as those with even half a brain know better...

Love 0.3 Wiigator! Mostly for Super Swing Golf Season 2 since that game took forever to load and I didn't want to keep the game from my friend, since I had it for so long anyways!

You just figured that out?! People know who I am talking about....they complain..complain...complain about this not working for them... Where's the gratitude?! If I was only able to play one damn compatible backup it was $$, I didn't spend not that I am trying endorse piracy, but I'd say 90% of us here are here for just that reason.. So why don't you just stop bitching and read and try until you succeed...

I knew this was going to be the result of an open beta.
But it's already out, so it doesn't matter anymore.

And the fact that people who aren't complaining have found bugs and made fixes/patches due to the beta is just as true as it was when you were begging wiigator not to release it.

He is making this for FREE by the way and besides, its only in BETA, its called BETA for a reason, *To test it and to find bugs*
I think the only reason you find 0.1 better, is that 0.1 has a much better compatibilty list, which I can understand, but for the games that do work on 0.3, its perfect and eventually, 0.3 will be compatible with all games and run them much better than 0.1.
IF you really think 0.3 is "shit", then make your own!

haah works perfect i've now completed the game using wiigator 0.3 (except i skipped stage 8 ofcourse...)

No!, Not at all, I have some PAL games I play on my NTSC wii. I have not experienced any issues.

Not true. There ARE situations where they don't work. I posted that info in the wiki but someone recently decided to remove my posts, probably because they aren't really about the loader's compatibility as much as to do with the impossibility of viewing pal resolution games on ntsc tvs.

Not sure if people know this, but before widescreen came along PAL tvs are actually a different shape from NTSC tvs. taller, more square than NTSC. as a result, some games that actually use that PAL-only resolution (those games that were never intended by the coders to be played outside of PAL-land) will NOT work on an NTSC tv unless the TV is specifically designed to view PAL res- which most tvs aren't. My brand new Samsung widescreen 42" Plasma - it does NOT support the video mode for two games I tried, both of them PAL. (force NTSC or force PAL-60 don't help by the way for these particular games).

However a few PAL games DO work, so you take your chances (for those, the other modes DO help). from my personal experience I would stay away from games that are obviously for europe only, like one game I tried called Who Wants to Be A Millionaire (which turns out to be a UK only game with british voice work etc).

But yes, many do work, and those that are actually NTSC games that were modified to a PAL mode will work fine of course since they're actually NTSC games in the first place.

That isn't true, I think you maybe a little confused. in PAL and NTSC lands TV's have been 4:3 (that is for every 4 units (inches/cm/whatever) wide they are 3 units high). For the past 18 years in europe (15 years for the usa) there have also been "widescreen" 16:9 TV's - 16 units wide by 9 units high. PAL and NTSC both use around the same sizes - 21", 25", 28-29", 33", 42", 50", 70" etc.

PAL and NTSC are different colour encoding systems - virtually all euro countries also 576i which is a higher resolution than NTSC (at a lower frequency).

Most european TV's made in the past 15+ years and most US TV's made in the past 5years will playback both PAL and NTSC without problems.

Virtually all PAL games will work on a NTSC wii without problems. Some peoples TV however may not display it (especially if they are using composite video cables rather than RGB SCART or YPbPr component). The same is true of NTSC games on PAL consoles (with the disadvantage of red tint if using RGB cables :/ ).


If your NTSC TV doesn't work in PAL (or vice versa) you can always try the Force NTSC option - but many games won't run unless in their native video mode.

What is wrong with you?
First of all It works way better for me and almost everyone else, so far as I've read; compatability is higher, and it appears to run much faster.
Is it possible your not using v0.3??
Plus the program is free, do you understand that word?
If you pay for something and it doesn't do what the package promised then I'll understand if your pissed.
But if it's free?
Really some people on here sound like little more mature than gradeschool kids.
