As Gamers, there are multitudes of games we can choose from at any time to play and enjoy.
But what happens when our eyes are to big for our.. Er, hands? What happens when we pick up a bit more then we know what to do with?
Why, we get BACKLOG.
A giant backlist of games we don't even know where to begin with. Or games that we start, and backlog because something cooler or more interesting comes out.

So I wanted to know, What is your backlog at this moment GBATemp?
Unfortunately I have a rather hefty list, mostly 3DS and 360 games.

Same here, by the way. I'm just listing my more recent abandonments. I could probably add a couple dozen extra's if I go through my game chest. And a couple hundred if I add all the unplayed and pirated games.

I wish I could play and test all the games I know, saw in reviews, in magazines etc., I'm curious and like to know everything, but it's a little too much.
I suffer from the "I have a life" syndrome.

I'm trying to complete 1 or 2 game per month, but sometime I don't complete any games for months.

Hmmm recently I haven't actually had this problem. It seems like the more games I get the faster I burn through them. This might be in part because I have nothing invested in the games. (You put $60 into a game your gonna play it even if it sucks, you put $10 in you prolly wont)

Same. I'm not sure what the definition of a "hardcore gamer" is, but it can't be anyone older than 19 or 20 years old. Life just gets too busy.

Plus, when you're all growed up, you can do whatever the fuck you want, whenever you want. Why play a game about jetski's when I can just go and ride a real one if I wanted?

Half Life: Blue Shit

I too need to play this.

It's the epic (but short) prequel to Half Life that features Gordon Freeman eating a delicious birthday cake with beautiful deep blue frosting.

The rest of the game is spent searching for an elusive toilet, with the amazing conclusion to the tale being the player hearing Gordon's voice for the first time, saying

"But why is my poo blue?"

Mind. Blown.

Castle Crashers(Steam)(no 2-nd controller, so I've been holding back until I can find a cheap one and a friend to play with)
Borderlands(Steam) (bought it for 5$, played once and never opened it again. I might do during the summer holidays)
Garry's Mod (Steam) (the only thing I've done with this was to make the Heavy sit in a bathtub with 20 rockets glued to it and launching them. Gotta make more random shit here)
Pokemon Black 2(DS) (Meh, got to the second city and got bored, haven't opened it since)
Don't Starve(Steam) (Got myself killed 10s of times, so I ragequit. Haven't opened it since.)
Jet Set Radio (Steam) (Beat it on my Android first, so...yeah. Although I do plan on making a Let's play of it in the near future.)
All Ambassador titles (3DS) (Well, except Minish cap.)
Pretty much those. And I can't get into playing them until I'm finished with my 3DS games(MH3U, Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion 2 and Animal Crossing).
