Hacking backing up my saves

hey ive been researching how to back up my slot 1 rom/saves from legit carts
is there a simple way off doing this?

the wifi one with the FTP server sounds a bit to complicated for me..

isnt there a slot 2 program that can just back the save/rom on to my slot 2 storage?




and the other thing, can write saves/roms to a legit cart?

Yep there is, Rudolph's backup tool comes in 3 versions: Wifi, 3-in-1 and slot2.

It can transfer saves both on and off of an official cart, and back up a copy of the official game as a ROM file.
It is impossible to write a ROM to a legit cart.

I used the wifi mode, and while it wasnt at all hard to set up, the transfer FAILS about 90% of the time. When I finally DID get it to work, the save files were all various sizes that wouldn't work on my R4 (where every save is 512KB). I tried transferring them all as 512KB saves, but again, it kept failing so much and took so long that I eventually gave up.
