Gaming Backing up E-Shop Games(not saves but the actual game)

Hi Guys,

First of all, I hope I am in the right thread. I just want to know if there's a way to back up my games I purchased from e-shop. The thing is I want to downgrade my o3dsXL to 9.2 but I want to format it before doing so(I successfully downgraded my o3ds by formatting it and I think that makes a big difference). I only have 2 downloaded retail games, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy and New Super Mario Bros 2. Can I, by any chance, redownload It by using the same NNID? Or is there anyway to back it up an re-inject it? I just want to confirm before formatting it, those 2 games are still a bit pricey so I don't want to lose it.

there is no point formatting the ds before downgrading because games are installed to the SD card of the 3DS while downgrading only affects the system titles directly
