following this line of thought its still very likely he hit "A" instead of "B" when he woke up and is too ashamed/embarrassed to admit it (or he did it before fully acclimated to the new day and does not know if he was still dreaming . . . lol)

Loooollll, even if it's possible, if he did it he will not told me at all what happened. No, what he said to me is that if he never doubt that he was in cause, he shall not speak about it ever. He will keep himself quiet. These were his words :)

That is only true if the Sysnand and emunand are linked. If they are not linked the Internet connection is not copied over from the emunand to sysnand. I know this because I have that very setup
Mine is also unlinked and it there is no connection set up, it gets copied over, no matter if unlinked or not. I had that very same issue. It gets copied over unless you have existing connections.

I have just checked my SysNAND and I definitely have no Internet set up in it yet I do in emunand so either I am right in what I say or my 3ds is unique in doing this lol anyway I have made a little video to prove my point it's uploading to YouTube as we speak then you will see I am right lol

@wurstpistol here is the video proof that I am right as you can see I first boot into emunand and you can see my Internet connection called igotit2 I then exit out of syst settings and boot sysnand go to Internet connections and as you can see I have no Internet connection on sysNAND

The sysnand wouldn't be updated if he was in emunand mode. How did he get into sysnand mode if he was sleeping his system in emunand?

No, that's not what he means. Read two posts above yours ;)
yup my shitty laggg and slow ass two finger typing skills and the fact that what i put up there even though not correct per-say is still a viable solution to the problem that was being discussed
but i guess i could hop on in the wayback use the edit button on my post lol
edit: lol @myself it took me 7 min just to type this!

Game over! Now you have a reason to get a n3ds.

Someone updated it period. Must click ok for update. Your 3ds isn't unique.

This was such a Fn blast to read....lmao!!!!!! I've had 3 systems in sleep mode on different games for months now, and no magic auto-update....lol

You kids these days and you tall tales...lol

It can be set up the way your video shows AFTER the fact, so it really proves nothing. Mine were/are unlinked and upon initial setup, the settings did in fact carry over.

I'm kind of surprised Nintendo hasn't implemented some sort of auto-update feature. I don't think it would be that hard for them to set it up to check if the battery is above 80% and/or if it's plugged in.
