How safe is this for creating your own VC wads as i have done one but a little worried can it cause bricks (banner bricks) if i install

it's safe, all your doing with this is injecting a rom or homebrew .dol into a already made .wad so WILL NOT WORK, and the worst you will get is a channel that cannot be used.... no NO banner bricks, as your wad you'd use isn't corrupt itself.......

Ok how about this for a question
Would it be possible to trim a VC game down similier to trimming a NDS rom so it uses less blocks on the wii
basically remove the crap like Wiiscrubber does

to answer the second question, there is no garbage data in a WAD, so there's no 'WAD Scrubber' utility.
