Gaming auto adjust system volume?

anyone know a free software i can use to auto adjust my overall system volume to a fixed (db) level?

if i use winodws media player i need to adjust it's vol along with the system vol.
or vlc vol with the system vol.
or youtube vol with the system vol.

could really use one master vol level. i'm using vista.

I don't understand what you're asking at all.

Furthermore, Windows does have a master volume control. It's the one labeled "Master volume" and if you turn that down then everything is lowered.
