Based on what SciresM said, if you blank the prod info and turn wifi on then it would crash.

If you ONLY blank prodinfo with exosphere, it will crash. If you block nintendos servers with dns mitm AND blank your prodinfo..... It will not crash when connected to wifi.

Quick question. I have a V1 Switch. If I update the firmware to 17 can I still boot with Hekate to my cfw whic is still at 16 and not be buggy or crash when playing games?

the unpatched part of console WILL NEVER CAN BE PATCHED

so anything will works the same.

now we have Atmosphère 1.6.2 and hekate 6.0.7 with full FW 17 support. if your produinfo is blanked you need to setup DNSMITM to ensure your console no crash wen connected to network.

Yeah, thats how I have mine set up... double the protection.

I did have both set to 1, but changing them to 0 and then checking back the Serial Information on the Switch's settings still shows it as all 0s, and I'm sure I didn't change the serial through any other means.

that means what you also had run Incognito_RCM on the past, hope you have a backup of the PRODUINFO anywhere on your disks.

Id have to check, how is it named in the file dumps ?
I see a couple of files starting with XAWXXXX_BISKEYS.bin and XAWXXXX_PRODINFO.bin inside atmosphere/automatic_backups, are those the right ones?
And how do I restore them?

You don't have to

It's just Atmosphere doing a prevention backup just incase!

So edit exosphere.ini and set this to 0
blank_prodinfo_sysmmc=0
blank_prodinfo_emummc=0

yeah, enable DNSMiTM and/or DNS90, remember to remove themes and update all your sysmodules, and sigpatches

sorry for bothering again; will the default.txt-file apply to whatever I boot atmosphere into, or do I have to rename it to emummc.txt for emunand? I don’t use atmosphere on my sysnand at all

if you ONLY want it for emunand, yes call it emummc.txt

For anyone that wants to use exosphere on firmware 17.0.0, you need to setup 90DNS, as long you block server communication you would be fine, you won't crash even if you have wifi on.
