I'm on 4.1.0 currently. I stopped updating a while ago, and was waiting for Atmosphere with emuMMC so I could keep my sysnand clean to (hopefully) keep from getting banned. I haven't kept up with any of this in probably 6 months to a year. I've done a good amount of reading, but I'm still a bit confused.

I was going to follow this guide on YouTube (How to setup EmuMMC EmuNAND on Nintendo Switch FW 9.0 - Atmosphere CFW & Hekate Tutorial), but it seems like I can't do that because I'm on 4.1, and the guide for that (SD Card Setup (Caffeine)) does not appear to be for emuMMC. I'd link those, but I guess I can't.

Is there a way to make both of these things work, and keep my sysnand clean?

Is it even worth staying on 4.1, or should I just update and do this the normal way?

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you already made a nand/boot0/1 backup?

I also was on 4.1.0 when I set up my emummc so the fw is not the problem.
Maybe your sd card or your setup is the problem?

To quote Draxzelex:
Right now, consoles with a fuse count of 5 or less (indicating a firmware version of 4.1 or lower) can run the Deja Vu exploit which boots you into CFW via a network connection. The advantages of this are not requiring a jig or USB cable in order to hack your console. This may change in the future if another exploit is released that only works on this or other lower firmware versions.
