Hi there! Anyone knows if when I dump a ROM from one of my 3DS cartridges, it can get damaged or something similar? I would like doing it but I'm afraid of getting an useless cartridge...

Decrypt9 can for sure dump ROMs. I haven't tried Hourglass9, but it's just a more noob-friendly version of Decrypt9.But that isn't related to ROM Dumping, is it?![]()

Well, everybody is telling me there's no problem when dumping, so thank you. I should be happy then. If anyone can say something more, I will be thanked of receiving your experiences dumping ROMs hahahaI've never heard of any instances where dumping a ROM image results in damage to the original cartridge. (I know that there's some unlicensed Mega Drive cartridges with anti-dumping provisions, but those don't damage the cartridge; they just prevent dumps from working correctly.)
Hourglass9 does include the cartridge dumping functions of Decrypt9WIP (both 3DS and NTR/TWL). Note that the secure area check will always "fail" when dumping a TWL cartridge (DSi-enhanced), but this can be ignored.
