Generally speaking, yes; however if someone were to acquire the cartridge and a Datel's Power Saves, then they could use that to inject the save.

Nice one funny man, but the 2ds makes for good and inexpesive homebrew

If you have a hacked 3ds and aren't using rxtools (o3ds only), you have to use a modified agb firm file, if you want to pay buy a gba and the games or flashcart you want

Well it depends, what do you want out of your game boy, just one game or a lot. Emulation you can get unlimited games (illegal though)
