Ohhhh i see it now but i guess im at a loss for what 9.2 it is now? Is it 9.2 with al9h or virgin 9.2 because when i made my emunandoriginal file it was virgin 9.2 clone????

Once you have a9lh you have CFW on an updated system and there is no use for 9.2 anymore.

The reason im so hung up on it is as of right now 11.0 is not exploitable but as i understand it if you do al9h it doesnt matter if your on 11.0 because you can run exploits preboot right? so 11.0 al9h is safer when it comes to brick?

The reason people want a9lh is because you can use everything 9.2 users can use and it offers brick protection. In case of a brick, you can restore a backup since a9lh boots before the nand does (i believe)

Yes. It's way safer because if you install anything experimental and it goes wrong you can just restore a backup with Hourglass9.

lol its not just about cias. i can do that with luma on emunand its about exploiting my console to the fullest. Every device or console i ever owned or will owned is exploited its just part of the fun for me.

Anyhow @ op follow the guide as written, in the end you will flash emunand_original.bin which should be at 11.0 to your sysnand bringing yourself out of 2.1 with your otp and arm9 installed already. If you end up accidentally bricking or updating a hardmod can fix that.

plailect's guide is updated so often that it shouldnt be such a big surprise that some things get outdated so fast. What we are pretty much telling the op is for him to rest easy and continue with the guide because it will all be worth it in the end

ok so everything went smoothly however i ran arm11.bin screen glitched and it rebooted but it just shows a black screen and if i pull the sd card it wont boot at all just shuts off any ideas?

Edit Scratch that i deleted lumas config and it worked.

Hold the "start" button upon boot, hourglass9 will boot, restore sysnand with emunand_original.bin

yeah but it was before that i just didnt realize black screen is normal. luma cant boot 2.1 fw so blakc screen normal
