I'm getting the same issue he's getting on my jpn-n3ds.

Current installed a9lh: commit 91c4193 on Mar 8

Compiled the latest: commit dd9c3a5j with the same data_input dependency files (hashes match the readme) + otp.bin. Placed arm9loaderhax.pack onto my SD root. set ctrbootmanager9 to load /3ds/arm9loaderhax/arm9loaderhax.bin binary.

Here's the screen output:
Code:
Full Installation Pack
    [FAIL] Hacked Firm0
    [GOOD] Legit Firm1
    [GOOD] Hacked KeySector
    [GOOD] Secondary Payload
ERROR : 1 content files are corrupted!
ERROR : The instalation pack is corrupted!

Press A to exit...
This should now be fixed, i just pushed a new commit and his relative release build.
Also, i'll be in holidays for this week, so feel free to make requests/reports, i'll work on it when i'll be back. Or make pull requests if you prefer!

Awesome. I'll try it out right now and report back.

Edit: It still fails the Firm0 check on Latest commit 26c7f74. Maybe someone else can confirm for n3ds?

Please i'm not home anymore, try to do i == 0 instead of i == 1.
In case it works, please make a pull request if you can.

So basically this is just another way to install a9lh? Easier way kinda.
I've used Plailect's guide a week ago or so to install a9lh, should I update using this .bin and safea9lhinstaller or re-follow part5 of Plailect's guide?

Something that's been bugging me for a while even though this exploit is pretty much perfect: if your sd slot dies, the 3ds would die too. :/ (yes I know nand mods but a lot of people wouldn't go to the trouble, lose their backup, etc.)

I was thinking of a possible solution. If the stage2 loader can't mount the sd card, it could jump to the end of the usable NAND (943/1240MB), and load a backup firm from there. Could this work?

No need, just have it load FIRM from CTRNAND (don't forget it's installed there as a title too).

Question, is it possible to use yet without an sd inserted (in case of loss/breakage)?
Odd question. You can grab a 2GB card for like $5 and unbrick (if needed). Not much you can save without one, which kind of makes the 3ds pretty useless (games that save to the cart, an exception, obviously). If you can't buy a card, you seriously need another hobby.

So you can unbrick it even if you somehow manage to lose the files that were on there (say you didn't back up for whatever reason)?

No, unless you have a hard mod, you NEED to have a NAND backup to unbrick. And even then, I think you still need a NAND backup, but I'm not positive.

I think he was more referring to the sd card slot itself breaking, though I could be wrong about that.

If you didn't back the files uo to PC, then you don't know how to follow directions, not that you should need directions to do that. No sympathy from me here.

Different story. But again, makes for a pretty useless 3ds. Hard mod would obviously be the only unbrick choice, but a brick and broken SD card slot at the same time? Worst. Luck. Ever.
