Yeah, granville, that must suck.

I picked up two SuperCard DS One's locally for a friend and I, and they've been working fine since last week.

Only problem would be the Kirby freezing-at-menu glitch but that seems to be a widespread problem.
I think the Kirby problem happens in other cards too, so I wouldn't blame the Supercard for this.

I don't like that this is a continuous problem that hasn't been addressed. I'll just continue to short the battery every day or so. It works if I do this. Maybe they'll come up with a fix (doubt it).

I was seriously considering getting this card. After reading this thread though, having serious second thoughts...

Don't, the poll is really off because of some R4 fanboys.

It's a really good card, I love mine.

The poll looks so nice. The bar chart of each question always on the top side.

My vote:
1) 100% (so far)
I didn't tried any single game in the world. But I worry less about compatibility because forum usually provide a fix soon when the card can't really run a game)

2) Very good
It's the best among all other competitors. Price is reasonable and quality is about the top. There are still some minor annoyances and problems, although nothing serious. The wording of the first option is just too good to be true "IT IS THE BEST!!! YOU CAN"T BREAK IT!!!". If it is rewritten to something like "The best on the market / Excellent", I may consider voting this one.

3) Very happy
There are still some improvements that I want to see (eg no more cheat name cutoff, allow renaming of multi-save).

For people who are so worried about PSRAM error, I did a research on it and how widespread the problems are (and your risk of getting a faulty build). Read my comments about PSRAM error:

So far my observation is that the risk is low. A small group has encountered this problem but it's not something like there are 10% risk that you will get a faulty one. I can't say the exact percentage but it should be much lower. Of course it is still possible you may become the unfortunate minority. Well any card DOES have bad builds. I'm not sure if the bad builds of Supercard DS One is considerably more than others though.

I improved my GUI... just disable icons, disable bricker check and delete ndsinfo.dat (no unneded game info or save size loading and other crap)...
It works as fast as my good ol' R4, looks almost the same, works with the same save files (they are all 512kB when you delete ndsinfo.dat).

RTS rule! Especially in games like Contra 4 and to save a lot of time and headache when unlocking worlds 4/7 in New SMB with micro Mario!

It works fine, just like every other flashcart available, sure it has some extra feautres that are useful, realtime save/cheat/guide, but other than that, what do you need a flashcart to do? Play games, ya.. they can all do that. I can't really see any of them being worse than others, except clones that break your ds, or carts that simply just dont work properly.

An extra second you have to spend in the gui selecting your game shouldn't really be a valid complaint, at least its not to me. If you dont have that 1 extra second, I dont know what to say...
