I am very unhappy with this card so far. It's a shame because I can tell it's a great one underneath (good compatibility and features). But this card fails for one reason:
PSRAM error
This is an error that has no fix. Not even that battery shorting technique by romman did the trick. With luck, you will get a Supercard without this problem, but that's not a good excuse because I and a few others have this problem.
So until they find a permanent solution (to which they clearly don't understand the problem), this card gets a low score of 5/10 from me. With the PSRAM error, you will be lucky to get past the loading screen in games. If you do, prepare for freezes.
It's a shame. When I first got the card, it didn't give the PSRAM error for about a day. I gave the card a 9/10 on the first try. You can still fix the thing if you open it up and short the battery, but the error will return within a day.
I never understood why people said the Cyclo was the way to go when this card does everything it does. But now there is a very good reason to pass up the Supercard DS-ONE. There is a fairly good chance you will receive a defective unit.
Until the Supercard company develops a permanent fix, don't risk your money. If they do develop a permanent fix, this card will get a 9/10. Until then it's 5/10. And it's only that high because you can temporarily fix it. But I shouldn't have to open up a game cartridge ever day just to get it to function properly.
I'm sorry if this post makes people angry, but I am angry. If you haven't got the defect, I assure you that I am happy for you and accept that it's a great card when it works. But this is my personal experience and I am only telling people what happened.
