Gaming Are there any homebrew options to turn on PS3 remotely?

I don't have an official PS3 controller and while the controller does everything else, it doesn't allow me to turn on the PS3. I went through the trouble of setting up RemotePlay for PS3 but it requires you be on PSN and be on latest firmware. Is that an option? I was banned before but I think it's only a banned account not the entire PS3. I am on Rebug CFW 4.82. Or is there another homebrew way to send a signal through a PC for example or phone to turn on the PS3?

I'll give it a shot. Official Dualshock 3s are like over $100 new. I won't buy used because the battery could be nearly dead in it, most likely would be.
