Are then any new OR fun ds pokemon hacks out there? im bored and want something to play
no. on the ds, all you get is: catch all pokemon in one game and here everyone got l100 legendaries even random trainers.
it may be a better idea to try another monster raising game like dragon quest monster joker 1/2 or devil survivor or digimon dusk/dawn
Nah, everyone's just biding their time. Believe me, significant progress has been made beyond "catching" and "trainers" for DS games; it's just that making a hack is VERY time consuming. The whole process of creating an extensive DS ROM hack has yet to be dumbed down so that even a script kiddie can do it.
The DS pkm hacking scene is tiny compared to the GBA scene. Slowly but surely, more hacks will come.
as long as they cant edit maps, pokemonhacks will be 99% of the same stuff i've been doing for the last 5 years. hunting every pokemon and battling trainers on steroids.
if they can't ASM hacking/programming skill, map hacking is so useless.
As far as I know, the GBA games are EXTREMELY easier to hack than the DS games.
I'm making a GBA hack myself But I really don't believe that there are any new hacks out there.. Except for Blaze Black / Volt White 2.
ha if u guys find any let me know
Look at Blaze Black 2 or Volt White 2, if you are looking for a B2/W2 hack that is way more challenging + has the ability to catch all Pokemon, plus more.
its pretty much the same hack that has been done for the ds games since ancient diamond and pearl times with a hand full of events slapped into it. and while not bad, they neither really give nor take from the experience
Well, I am playing the game right now; it's okay. But once again, GBA hacking is less complicated than hacking a DS game, but he was asking for DS Pokemon hacks, which I really haven't seen anywhere lately that are completely different. However, he could try Pokemon Aqua Sapphire, but by the looks of it, it hasn't been released yet.
I used to play some pokemon Hacks aka. mods for gba, some remakes from Gameboy color such as Pokemon Crystal, Pokemon Blue,etc...Anyway, just wait for Aqua Sapphire, just like TraeGFX said...it will be epic
I will just leave this hack of the year remake here: http://wesleyfg.weebly.com/lightplatinum-nds.html
This was originally a rom hack of Pokemon Ruby for GBA, but the person who made it got his team back together and is remaking it over Pokemon HeartGold for NDS. It seems that the NDS hacking scene is improving greatly. Pokemon Light Platinum is no doubt one of the best GBA hacks and now they are remaking with even more stuff to experience on NDS.
Original GBA version:
i guess its still the same a year ago. the only finished hacks are difficulty and catching stuff, maybe with a textedit here or there.
while the tools might have evolved and the possibilities are greater by now, the projects that are still around will take a few more years, if they ever get finished at all
Pokemon Light Platinum on DS looks great based on the screenshots. And the features mentioned are somewhat different from other ds rom hacks. Let's just hope that they did figured out how to FULLY hack pokemon ds roms.
I've found a site where there are 4 completely new DS hacks for pkmn http://www.pokemoner.com/2015/05/pokemon-blaze-red.html?m=1. Just press on ds remake once you go to this site
There are Pokemon MAP Editor called Spiky's DS Map Editor for editing Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Black, White, Black 2 and White 2. Here the website!
I am not testing this one, which similar to Pokemon GBA Editor! Just for fun hacking Pokemon games!
Can anyone make Pokémon black or white rom hack with 6Gen Pokémon in it. P.S.put mega stones to mega evolve but if you can make it to evolve during battle
