Hacking AR Codes on Physical game?

I have an R4, which I know can run Cheat Codes on the games inside the microSD, but can I use just my R4 to use cheats on physical DS games?

Is there somewhere I can downoad a complete cheats.xml? Or a tip on making my own?

I can confirm now that this does indeed work
Finally I have cheats on my physical games lol.

Watch out when using a huge cheats.xml, I recommend instead having a seperate .xml for every game and selecting the file.
