Yeah, only KI:3D will recognise the cards.

The 6 AR cards that come with the 3DS are as simple as they come, they work by colour recognition and little else.
KI:3D uses the general colour of the artwork as a well as a red/green/blue pattern in the bottom left corner.

Just one thing guys, the Europe Card Holder Light/Dark actually isn't bigger than the NA one.

+ Card view now has a menu with Previous, Next, Change region and Redownload buttons.
+ Main list has "redownload list" button in the menu.
+ Unavailable cards in the list are grayed.
+ New icon for the application

like http://ar.essh.co/images/ki/001-AKDE.jpg on the bottom right side...what is this?

from the cards i own, these have them.
pit, palutena, dark pit, tiger claws, twinbellows the ferocious, and Mik.

could that just mean they could come with the game?
