I noticed dcemu got hacked, and thought maybe the downtime here was related. Good to hear it's wasn't.

They weren't the only ones.....I noticed a particular ROM site was hacked too. That site still says, "Hacked by Team Animus" as of the time of this post. Naturally, don't name the site if you know which one I'm talking about since that's against the forum rules.


Glad GBAtemp wasn't hacked or shut down and that it was just a hardware failure. Not that a hardware failure is ever good, but you know what I mean. It was a bit of a shock when I got up this morning and GBAtemp acted as if it just didn't exist anymore.

Hi everyone, just a quick word to explain and apologize for the downtime that occured today on all our services. Unfortunately our server went down due to a hardware defect, and it couldn't be restarted even by the hosting company themselves. It's been fixed now and let's hope it won't happen again!
All services are back up and running, including our chatroom (IRC channel, #gbatemp.net on server irc.gbatemp.net:5190) so feel free to join us for a good time with everyone!

No wonder I can't access GBAtemp.
