This may be a strange question, but is it possible to share saves? I beat the offline portion of MHGen and now I'm moving onto XX. I knew you could transfer your save data, but obviously it doesn't work across regions. I really don't want to start from complete scratch again and do the same exact quests until G rank. Is it possible to use someone elses save and just edit the character and such? Would anyone be willing to share?

If your talking about save editing with apm then yes
well let me start from the top i guess.. I already have 11.3 update on my 3ds and I didnt have FBI or CIA on it before the update so in order to import my MHG into the Apm editor i think i need FBI in order use a save manager to export it but I running into a wall here when trying to use FBI on my homebrew launcher but it keeps crashing any thoughts?

First of all FBI is not needed for exporting or importing and the reason FBI is crashing is most likely because of the 11.3 update since it's blocked people from installing CFW if they hadn't already. Also for MHG use this because save manager doesn't work for MHG only MH4U: https://gbatemp.net/attachments/mhgsv-zip.56828/ . If you need anything else just ask. ^_^

for 11.3 update my OOT hax payload doesn't work any more, don't know what's your condition. Maybe the firmware update blocked homebrew for now.
So, on topic, I cannot use APM's editor for MHG now..

Thanks for the reply! I googled a bit and found a save manager, svdt and a MHgen save manager but neither of them work. My game cartridge must really hate me because all of them just give me an error and say they can't load it...
Is there anything else I can do?

You have to export "ExtData" not the Savegame. You get 2 Files one of them is Called "System" thats your save.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

u have a list ID of item ? i need it

Use the Save Manager. Open your Save. Click on the Third Option from the top. Then Click on the Top Right. Then Type in "1:1-(Amount of Slots) If you have 14 Boxxes its 1400 for example.
This will fill up your boxxes with Item 1 to 1400 x99.
After that Save your Savegame. I dont quite remember what was the save button, so its a littlebit trial and error. Or use On screen Translation with Google Translator on your Smartphone.
I upload the Editor and a Picture of the Process.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Heres the Editor. Plus my MhXX Save File. G4 Is finished. Multiplayer is finished. Village is 8Stars.
All Materials x99 and Many Weapons and Armor.

Question. Can this work with MHXX? or do I have to use MHX then transfer the save data over
I installed the MHX Cia on my LumaCFW. I ported my MhGenerations Savegame to a MHX Savegame.
I started up MHXX and imported the MHX Savegame.

I used a Programm called MHX Data Manager. You can import Chars from MHGEN and Save them directly into your Save of MHX. Im not entirely sure if you need a MHX Save or if it creates one if you inject it. But the MHX Data Manager can be installed from TitleDB in FBI.

Hope i could help

After alot of looking and testing I found out that the save file transfer program I was originally attempting to use was the wrong one, finally found one that works with my DS, I am in the process of transferring my save data over and testing the save editor. Hopefully this should mean I wont spend another few hundred hours getting back to where i was before i lost my save data.

That's because the app version of homebrew is blocked but if you use 3ds sound and load soundhax then it will work

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.
