ughh grinding out village quests are a painHi o/ I would like to ask if there is any way for selected quests to be completed?
ughh grinding out village quests are a pain
yesJust to check... If i edit 50 potion into my pouch, when i go into the quest, it will be reset back to the max of 10?
Actually, I replaced a bombay move. But I'll put Detox Horn there and then do as you said to do. Thanks!you probaly replaced Detox Horn, which is a group 2 skill with Big Boomerangs, which is a group 1 skill. the RNG (seen on the same page as your palico's name in the editor) determines the order of skills by group. Put Detox Horn back and replace either Sumo Stomp or Excavator with Big Boomerangs (bc both of those other skills are not very useful).
Yes! Thank you! I eventually had to find a way around it by exporting the palico and hex editing the file.Small Update: v0.14c
What's new:
Fixed a problem where the Palico design wasn't saving
Depends, some edit it to make them look "legit" in-game and some just edit them for the "l33t h4x" or in other words to show off. What's the benefits to editing the guild card? Isn't it only to show what you've accomplished to others?

I think you can put them in the 3rd slot of your DLC palico and they should be registered as valid, but I'm not entirely sure. You need to ask @iSharingan, he probably knows about more about this.I'm messing around with the Palico Generator now, and is there any legitimate way to get Ranged Attack Up on a cat?
at the moment, no. The easy way is to edit into the learned slot on a palico, but that only works as long as you don't need the slot for another learned skill.I'm messing around with the Palico Generator now, and is there any legitimate way to get Ranged Attack Up on a cat?
Three solutions:the "human hunter" armory works like a charm, you can create everything, but the "Felyne" armor shop, even when you've all materials, they are blacked out and in red says "requires more materials"
even when I've 99/x of all items required for creating, so definitely the Felyne armor shop is broken.
I'm very early game, so I don't really have much at my disposal yet. I'm also new to monster hunter and am finding it hard to gleam any good documentation on Prowlers, their mechanics and armor/weapons. <<; Most documentation seems to be in videos and in Japanese. *sigh*at the moment, no. TBH, Ranged Attack Up is a drop in the bucket compared to what else is available to boost your attack power - not to mention the damage you get from using the Deadeye Garuga fan S alone (slightly weaker than the Silverwind star S, but does poison damage which usually nets more DPS overall)
Just the same, Ranged Attack Up is percentage based while there are plenty of better flat boosts (like Attack Up skills) for use early on.I'm very early game, so I don't really have much at my disposal yet. More on topic, I tried to edit F Star World into the game for kicks (I'm not one of those people who likes to hack super OP crap and run the whole game with it...not the first time around, anyway...) but whenever I try to do so, the palico equipment editor changes the number to something else. Is there a reason for this, or is this a glitch?
Speaking of DLC calicos, one of them has Desperation, which I notice isn't in the Palico Generator. Is anyone updating that program?@ukee new palico info based on the 8/5 DLC palicos (case in point: Monqlo). They CAN have RNG values starting with a group 3 skill - the DLC skill gets bumped to slot 4 in that case, but it's still limit 1 in the RNG pattern. 000B, 0409, and 0707 seem to still be invalid for DLC palicos as they lack any group 2 skills in the pattern, though.
Also confirmed that 010B and 0609 on action RNGs have the '9' total on Charisma palicos too. I'm now 99.99% sure all action RNGs get the extra group 1 slot at the end for charisma palicos
Ah, I see. Thanks for the tip.Just the same, Ranged Attack Up is percentage based while there are plenty of better flat boosts (like Attack Up skills) for use early on.
The palico equipment editor might be set to only 1 byte item IDs - as was the problem with the regular equipment editor at one point
That primarily refers to being able to use an extra customizable slot in Equipped skills (since there isnt a second locked skill on Charisma cats)Also, pretty sure the game says that charisma felynes get an extra move slot. "Leader's rights and all" says the tutorial guy. Still though, games can lie, so it's good to see that that really is the case.
Just add the gold studio pass to your pouch then go on a quest and deliver it. You can then craft one to use.I believe the number for F Star World was 280-something, but the program always picked 27 when I clicked OK. Ah well, I don't need it right now anyway.Unless it turns out to be unobtainable somehow.
try completing a quest from each rank. If that doest work, its because there are other flags besides the quest completed flag that ell the game when certain quests were legitimately done. Even with the qiuest completer it's likely necessary to complete all quests normally anyway just to be sure (again, why I find literally no point to the completer). In any case, my save with all quests complete is nearly done. The main hangups are finding people to complete some of the hub 6 and 7 hypers as well as the 5 monster arena quests in village 6.Any fix for awards? or ideas? i've tried completing few quests in guild cards it says "all x star hub quests complete" but still can't get the award hmm...
I was 120 hr before i did this , lacked few quests only but yeah, seems like I might require a tool for fix it sadly
