Well ok this is my problem at the moment. I got the JK's save manager and i have the MHG save editor, I have homebrew for 3DS XL. so my problem is that once i go in to the jk's save manager for the title it shows 5 options 1.export save 2.import save 3. export extra data 4. import extra data 5.exit..... When i click export save it reads ( error opening save archive) when i use export extra data i can click (new) but it freezes after i do so. i donloaded everything it told me to and put them in the right places. so pls help. if i can get this export import thing working i can do the rest. also many thanks for the save editor APM its much appreciated. <3

make sure everything included the starter kit is in your sd card, http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ u should download the payload just in case...if you keep crashing use the method I told you to run homebrew this will work for any 3ds any version up to date.

Alright. Got my armor working. Running into a new problem. My Palico's skills aren't sticking. I can equip them, but when I go to do a hunt, they come right off. Any solution to this? Didn't see anything about it in the FAQ.

You should probably try reading the first page before attempting to tackle 100+ lol... cause you know the FAQ is on the first page.

Would really appreciate it if you would stop throwing "Read the FAQ" every time there is a problem presented. This thread has almost 110 pages. Unless you plan on making a Pastebin, I would prefer a direct answer so I can go about my business.

I want to level a Palico to 50 but I want all of the unlocks with it. If I raised my palico XP by a bunch and then did a quest, will it level me up accordingly?

yep. just give yourself 999999 xp and go do a quest.

It's the 4th question in the FAQs. You have to make sure it's legal first. You can export the palico and use the palcio check tool to check if it's legal.

But now my game freezes when i load up monster hunter up then i pick a character it freezes on the yes or no

Did you edit one of your equipped palicos or equipped gear? I had the same issue after one of my palicos that I had equipped was edited.

I'm having an issue with editing my prowler/palico's level, I made it so it was a valid cat beforehand playing the cat from level 1, got it to level 27 through normal questing and decided I wanted to change my cat's level to somewhere higher, so I messed around and changed it to higher levels with random exp numbers, loaded into the game and the level definitely raised it, to level 35. But what i'm trying to do now is raise the level to 40 to unlock the max memory slots and keep it that way, but it's not letting me do that when I try editing the level to 40, 41, or even 49 when I try putting the exp to exactly '9999999'. I mean it shows that my prowler is what ever level I edited it to when I load into the game with it, but when I do a quest afterwards, it just resets back to level 35 with the normal exp assigned for that level. I've tried editing it several times with different ways but nothing seems to be working so far. I even tried unequipping all of my support moves and skills. Although I did check my cat again with the palico check tool and it says it's invalid or dlc palico for some reason, specifically just the learned moves i'm not sure why. I had the correct learned rng for it although I did teach it pierce boomerangs and last stand from other cats, and it has the max amount of support moves I could possibly get I think. I'm not sure if that's what's making it fail but any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!
edit: I also unlocked my hr unlimiter through the 7 star quests before editing the level too

Hey guys i'm having issues with either the save or the editor. It recognizes my hunter and everything else but it says I have no Palicos when I have 2. All I want to do is change my palico's name

i tried messing with palicos but it froze my game so im just going to wait till they patch it. but some one will be able to help you man. they all helped me.

How do I change my HR? I want to go to 110. Do I need to go through all the unlock points first? (35, 45, 60, 70 80) Can I set my HR to that point then get the quest and set it to the next one? Or would I have to go 44, manually go to 45. 59, manually go to 60 etc? I'm at 41 right now, so im past the 7 mark.

Method 1. Clear Guild★4, "The Grandmeowster's Trials" (Prowler-only)

Method 2. Get to HR 6.

• Level 20 ==> 35

Method 1. Clear Guild★7, "Meownster Hunter" (Prowler-only) (* Clear Guild★7 "The Ball's in Your Court" first to unlock the quest.)

Method 2. Get to HR 30. (* Clear any quest if you just got your HR limit broken.)

• Level 35 ==> 50

How come my palicos equipped actions get removed when i switch it from fighter to gaurd/protection?
