So I have my Aussie N3DS XL and I've never turned WiFi on nor have I set up an internet connection on it.
Since I'm getting my Sky3DS today, I would like to run the ninjhax exploit through it, but this does require an active internet connection, for a brief moment.

Is there any step-by-step guide on how to enable WiFi and an internet connection without triggering the nag screen for the dreadful 9.4 update?

I'd rather not mess around with my router but if there's no other way, I guess I'll end up doing that.

Thanks!

Thanks but I'm on a Mac and I don't think this would work on my Windows 7 VirtualBox either

You should try it on your VirtualBox first. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

If it doesn't, you'll have to keep Wifi off up until you scan the QR code, turn wifi on, scan it, wait for the install, and turn it back off again. Your 3DS won't have time to get the entire update.

That program is a more permanent solution, however, as you'll be able to use your internet connection on your 3DS without needing to be concerned about the update.
