I'm trying to burn through my 77+ game backlog (I have no control when games get cheap...) and after beating ff6 (whoever translated that should be fined and never given a translation job again) I figured I'd take care of 5 and take ff anthologies off my list.
I try to play the games on native hardware whenever possible and since I have a sd2snes I'm hoping to get a translated ffv on snes instead of going through the load times of the ps1 version i own. That said should I go for the vanilla translation or the spoof version? I haven't played 5 before so I'd prefer an accurate plot but if the spoof is simply translated for more humour while keeping plot intact I might go that route.
