This is the most active subforum of "Nintendo 3DS Discussions". Threads in here include (1) useful tutorials and overviews (many of which a lot of work was put in), (2) developers threads for CFW / tools development and releases and (3) user questions for flashcart / software use. The latter (3) being in the majority, the more useful stuff (1&2) gets pushed down, and it does so fast. For a forum newcomer, it is practically impossible to get an overview of available tools and current development. A lot of (still relevant) quality tutorials are by now pushed so far down, no 'normal' forum visitor / member would ever find them without a Google / Forum search - and they'd need to know what they're actually searching for, so things are difficult. Great development projects don't get the attention they deserve for the same reason. Additionally, there's also some overlap between this and the Homebrew section, meaning there's stuff that could legitimately belong into both subforums. The situation is especially bad, as this here is actually the place for 3DS development. There is no other place in the web where so many talented people come together to tinker with our 3DS consoles. So, does anyone else think that we'd actually need more subforums here? I'm thinking about a "Developers" subforum, where only developers can open threads and a "Tutorials / Overviews" subforum where only quality tutorials and overview threads will be accepted. XDA, for example, handles it in a comparable way, they are very strict with their rules and their system just works. Any thoughts?
