Yes this is why everyone suggests downgrading to 3.2 and installing starfire with the updates blocked, then you dont ever have to worry or waste time brickblocking your iso's

i have 50 burned games, never did that and never add a problem
running under 3.3v2 gamma and softchip

i'm not saying that it's not safer but i never really needed it, if it asks for an update, JUST SAY NO

Wait until someone else turns on your wii and clicks YES to update on a game from a different region.

Its best to brickblock games to be safe so they dont update.

i see what your are saying but i'm the only one messing with the wii, i do think it's safe, for me i mean...
ps: i try to always get scrubbed versions as well
