im going to make a small 2 person server on both gmod and terraria and they require me to open some different ports. Is there any risk leaving these open?

Wont give my ip to the public, its just me and a friend going to play

Terarria only only requires port 7777 by default I believe. If you have a good antivirus you should be fine. There are also programs like Zone Alarm that tell you if requests are made for connection to the ports, but I don't think you'd really need it. You should be fine.

Most likely if you only open game-specific ports, you will be fine.
