Since my new tv doesnt have component inputs, Ive been thinking of fully converting my WiiU to undergo all my Gamecube, Wii, Emulator needs.... But I am asking if there have been any developments allowing a HDD connected for wiiU channels, and allowing a usb loader gx to load from wiiu channel, and use a seperate HDD?

There are not so much channels for the wii u. Use cbhc to boot directly in the vwii and boot the usb loader normally through it.

that's what I'd suggest too. the wii u can only have 300 channels at once. I think this can be bypassed with system config tool, but quite honestly, it's not worth it.

so i ask though, is there a way to have two hdds connected at once? one for all the wii/gamecube isos, and one for the wiiu channels?

i am also asking, since i never even used vwii mode once, will the gamepad still utilize the screen and mirror whatever is being displayed at all times?

yes, ustealth. you can mirror games on both the tv screen and the gamepad, I believe. in fact, I think it asks you when you boot into wii mode.

But why 2 hdds? The channels don't waste so much space. Install them on the consoles nand. And the games on the HDD ;)
isnt it quite a lengthy process to convert every wii and gamecube iso i have into a channel?

i say 2 hdds cause one for the wii usb loader gx with all the gamecube and wii games. one for the wiiu channels

as I said, ustealth will allow for this. mocha has the ability to do both on one hdd, but it first requires you to install it to wii u format, then copy the content over, so it's a waste of time. I assume that it's done in this manner in order to index the content.

Yeah like was mentioned download ustealth on PC and make the vWii hard drive stealth so the Wii U can't see it. Only way to have two plugged in at the same time one goes in the back one goes in the front both will either need a y-cable or plug into wall.
