I just watched the movie and it was fantastic, I recently started listening to their other albums such as The Final Cut, The Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here and Animals.

Animals is my favourite album, some of their older releases are very good too. I like A Saucerful of Secrets, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, Obscured by Clouds. The Piper at the Gates of Dawn is also excellent on its own, being the one that was lead almost entirely by Syd Barrett.

I saw them in 1988. No Roger (bummer) but still an awesome concert. Besides the studio albums, I collect PF bootlegs. I have over 100 different dates, all in FLAC. Some are shit quality of course, and they just stay archived on dvd-r. But there's a batch of excellent sounding shows that are good enough they could be mastered into commercial live albums, and I keep them on my DAP for headphone time. I guess you can see if you look there, I'm not really a fan of anything after Animals. The Wall and The Final Cut are ok, but it's pretty rare that I want to listen to them again. Once Roger left, meh.

Amused to Death was quality music, but a little heavy and wallowing. Same thing that turns me off somewhat to The Wall and The Final Cut.

Most recent album was pretty good to me. Reminds me of The Wall a bit, due to how the whole album seems to seamlessly loop.

Octavarium is the album and the song. It doesn't matter if you listen each song (in the album), they are 8, Octavarium being the octave song; you can also listen Octavarium first, and then listen each song.

This song is madness. There is the Continuum, a special touch keyboard (fingerboard) that has an X,Y and Z axis. And in the Intervals section each stanza is held by the current Song count, and each instrument plays the current album song, according to song Number in the same stanza in Intervals (IV), and the Continuum also plays at the intervals each song current timing (1/8 , 2/8, 3/8 ... 8/8).
