I'm thinking about making a website for my stuff. I don't need anything extravagant or provides a lot of features. Maybe at some point if I need more, I'll look into websites that that offer more (at a price), but for now, I'm looking for something.....free, to get me started, though the ability to play Youtube videos would be nice.

Any particular free web hosts I should look into?

I'm not sure what stuff refers to but for the time being would tumblr or http://www.webs.com/ suffice? I would've suggested blogger but I don't know how that is these days.

Ew. Webs.com is terrible if you want to be serious at all. The other two aren't exactly web hosts. I've been running a blog on x10hosting.com for the past 4 or so years and they've been pretty decent.

I'd use blogger or Google Sites.

Do not use 000webhost. They deleted my website twice, and they didn't reply back to my emails, thank god I had backups.
Zymic so far is amazing, used them for a year, and no problems.

Well, there had to be a reason why they deleted your site. Ever thought about that? ;)
I've been with 000webhost since 2008 and never had any problem with them.

Ì've e-mailed them, I never broke any rules. It was a basic blog, just checked the website now, it's up but I can't access the FTP for it when I log in, says access denied.

There's a big difference between "they deleted my site" and "I forgot my FTP password"!
