why not the typical "click" hooks?
This is what I'm wondering. There even little holes in the front and back of the 3DS that appear to serve no purpose other than give accessories a place to hold on to the system.

nintendo products are normally very ergonomic where possible.

Every single Nintendo handheld is shaped like a brick. Not exactly ergonomic :P

All of 'em, right?
Still pretty brick-like if you ask me...
Yeah, every Nintendo console is a brick... except they did do something interesting with Japan's Famicom...

Still waiting on the 3DS revision. But if it doesn't have a second analog (although it probably will), I hope they make this for it.
A revision would add more things, but it might also remove some things such as DS compatibility so it may not be worth waiting for.
wont happen, the 3ds is as it is, get over it.
the circle pad pro is an addon, that means, addon=no revision.
addon=money
You can't deny though that there will not be a revision though, they will make one eventually and if they did make one they would make all the features from the add-on built in.
But since they have this add-on it should mean there will not be a revision until 2-3 years so it isn't really worth the wait at all.

I personally disagree. We've seen too many add-ons on the DS and none of the revisions included them.

Dude, those holes are for a wrist strap.
I have the one from my other DS in that hole, so I'm pretty sure it works.

Hopefully there will be one that doesn't cover the game cart slot. Seems like a pain to have to keep popping it off and on every time you want to play a different game.

How often do you switch games?... Especially ones that require the Circle Pad Pro...

Have you seen how it pops in and out? It must take 5 seconds to switch a game.

Those two little holes on the front definitely aren't there for wrist straps.

That's their purpose. Every DS model has them.

Edit:

"You attach wrist strap to the 3DS itself."

Lmfao, I never noticed the two holes that were at the same position underneath the 3DS.

However, the two holes on the back... Y'know...
Looking at them from every angle, they can't be there for wrist straps, unless there's some kind of awesome contraption I can't understand.

We're not talking about the same holes here... look at the back of the system. Right next to the L and R buttons there are little holes (maybe 'notches' is a better word?).

Yes we are, since you mentionned both the holes at the back and at the front.

This looks great for me, i have big hands and often can't find a comfortable playing position. I would never use it outside my house cause it looks a bit ugly but I think it will be fantastic for long gaming sessions.

so i got a CPP today. makes the 3DS a lot more comfortable which is nice. but the R button does not replace the standard one (which is almost impossible to get to with it on) in non CPP games. this makes it almost useless as a grip for any games that require any amount of shoulder button usage. was hoping to use it with mario kart etc. surely nintendo can bring out an update to enable the CPP R button for all games...very frustrating...

I doubt it.

much better to get it directly from nintendo, which I did... 'cuz fu¢#ing gamestop never has it, and its supposed to be n exclusivity for them... a$$#ole$
