A revision would add more things, but it might also remove some things such as DS compatibility so it may not be worth waiting for.

the circle pad pro is an addon, that means, addon=no revision.
addon=money

eventually, yes, there will be one, when this unit does not sell(3ds).
just like all nintendo products, im a fan, but truth is told.
it will be called something like 3ds(light) hehe.
