Announcing Firstplay for the PS3

You all heard about the exclusive Gamesradar were showing on Monday right? Well here it is;

In North America, PS3 owners have Qore, a paid PSN program. In Europe, there's now FirstPlay.

Available through the PlayStation Network, FirstPlay features HD reviews and previews as well as exclusive downloadable content. The program is from Sony Computer Europe and publishing group Future, the folks behind the Official PlayStation Magazine.

"As PlayStation 3 moves the gaming experience to a more social and competitive online environment through the PlayStation Network, so it becomes critical that we're offering gamers the very best content and services through this channel," said Ray Maguire, Senior Vice President of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Managing Director of Sony Computer Entertainment UK. "FirstPlay is a great example of this."

Each episode is 99p, while a three-month subscription costs £8.99.

The PS3 seems like an attractive purchase now! It has a BluRay player. Great games in high definition. It does everything. (almost) I wish I had enough money to purchase this.

I like Pulse, but Qore is a lot less interesting (I downloaded the two free ones). Still, nice to have the option in the European Store.

Ah, that's interesting indeed. Could you buy a seperate episode for them? I mean, Spyro or Syphon Filter for just 1 euro is very interesting. But it also sounds to good to be true...

Qore is really cool. This sounds even better. It almost feels like the EU is getting more content.

I really like PS3 but its rip off because its so expensive. Sony is selfish and a thief! I am disappointing in them and now I have to wait a little bit longer to buy PS3. I am happy with Wii for now.
