ROM Hack Animal Crossing Wild World map

I used AnimalMap 1.8 to edit my town but when i open the map tab in the game,

all the houses are still in the same spot as before i hacked my save... but the houses are in the hacked places...

am i just going to have to live with this?, its not much of a big deal but it kinda bothers me on the inside...

i guess youd need to edit the map too, its more or less a static image isnt it?
