How does the campsite editing work?
Most of the time I set a villager there but the camp still doesn't appear.

Are you setting up any of the amiibo figure villagers or the 50 welcome amiibo villagers? They're the only ones that show up. If it's regular villagers, they don't have RV's so they won't show up there.

Ok, thanks. I'll see if JKSM still works on 11.4. I'll probably edit this post and add the save if it works.

Edit: Ok, so it froze with a green bottom screen twice in a row... I'd expect red if it were to not work. Maybe I'm just unlucky...

Well, thanks for offering, but it just so happens that I was forced to install 11.4 after finding a new way to soft-brick in pursuit of CFW.
(The .FBI installer can be used to install system updates, oddly enough. In my case it was 11.0, which apparently didn't support badges...? I still want to know what the 0.23.? and 25.?.? would do, though... probably would have hard-bricked my 3DS xD)

When I try to run the save manager (ACNL and regular) I get a luma unexpected error has occured.

Would anyone here be willing to mess around with my garden_plus.dat to help me figure out why I can only open my mayor's file but not the other three? Also, when I try to visit the dream of that town (via my other mayor), it crashes at the white screen. The town is hacked, but it's nothing extreme, and I have another town that is hacked even more and works perfectly fine.

Is there a way to transfer a save file from one region to another?

I tried injecting my save files from my US Welcome Amiibo game to my JPN Tobidase cartridge with the Homebrew savegame manager. I booted up the game and it said it was corrupted.

I'm pretty late to the game but I'm excited to try this out. I never liked the options I was given with the starter maps. And I was having trouble with the other animal crossing editior because I couldn't run it on the ACNL welcome amiibo.

Same here. It works fine with the 7.1 legacy version though, and the Fantasy Life save dumper works on both.

Well... no. I'm not entirely sure. But I'm fairly certain. I have a New 3DS XL on 11.4 (using doodlebomb entrypoint, thanks to this forum, which is basically the same as ninjahax as far as what will/won't work on HBL) and I tried two or three times to open JKSM, and I tried another save manager [Edit: extdata_dump] once [Edit: probably twice]. They all got stuck on the bottom screen being green [Edit: only JKSM]. (At least, I don't think it was red.) I don't think I was able to go back to the HBL menu with start (or anything else); I had to hold the power button down. (Just making sure- that is called a hard reset, right?)

Although, if you have CFW, then it should work. I don't know how to do anything on CFW, though.

I tried installing CFW, and... oh, I could have just quoted this whole thing (below) to begin with. Oops. Well, this is the result of running the save managers. And what happened when I tried installing CFW.
