@marc_max I wish that was the case, but I'm fairly certain it isn't because I only started with the new Save Editor with this town. But if your certain that it doesn't interfere then I will empty everything off of my Main Character and add everything from the Editor to make sure she actually has everything again, if for no other reason than because we both know I am horrible with computers, and it is FAR more likely my error than anything on your end (laugh)... FAR more likely!

Rose

P.S. Thank you as always for the informative and prompt feedback. It is MUCH appreciated.

So I just recently installed Homebrew on my 3ds through cubic ninja (mind you I have 11.4). I was super excited to finally get along with hacking my town but the acnl save editor displays a "missing title" message whenever I try to open the save editor. I looked through the save manager for cubic ninja, scrolled through all my games/apps and new leaf doesn't seem to be showing up as well. Is there any solution to this? I have looked everywhere :(

If you have just the 11.4 ofw without cfw. Your best bet is using the jk save's extractor and there are editors online to edit your town with. Just import the save using the save manager again. Also, make sure the extracted file you use was the last save file, this game can get picky. Also with any editing, do make sure to keep a clean save file on hand in case anything happens with the file you are using.

I have tried that. The only issue I have is to get acnl to show up under the save editor. My exploit is through a physical copy of cubic ninja and I have a physical copy of acnl if that helps.

Just out of curiosity, why won't the editor let me move standees? I searched this whole thread looking for an answer only to find that one person asked the same thing and didn't get a reply. I messed up placing some down (note, spamming to get through dialogue where you may be asked to make a choice is generally not a good idea) and hoped that this thing could let me correct that.

Various users reported that moving standees made them reset their pattern for some reason, so I disabled it.

Hi! I have an old AC: New Leaf save data, it possible to import it to the Welcome Amiibo game, the one with this icon:

?

You can do that in-game via an option on the title screen
I mean, I have an old ACNL save on my PC extracted with JKSM and i want to inject it on my ACWA game downloaded from eshop (the one with the update bundle) , not the ACNL game + the downloaded update, as far as save datas, looks like they're "different"

The editor has been updated! Thanks again to @SciresM for breaking the numeric values encryption.
Now you can edit bells, bank, medals, meow coupons and turnip prices at your own.

You forgot to put a max amount of characters for each text box, you can go way over the amount the algorithm is capable of handling.
EDIT: Nvm, it cuts it off at the max after you select another box.
But anyway, great work! :)

As long as the save is in garden_plus.dat format, you can use JKSM to inject it. Make this folder structure on your SD card: SD:/JKSV/Saves/ACNL_-_Welcome_amiibo and place the save file in a folder inside of that folder (i.e. save1). Then use JKSM to inject it (JKSM -> SD/CIA -> ACNL - Welcome amiibo -> Save Data Options -> Import save -> <folder name>, i.e. save1). The saves technically aren't that different once you download the Welcome amiibo update (not the bundled version but ACNL + downloaded update) as garden.dat becomes garden_plus.dat and ACNLWA's save data is already garden_plus.dat.

Is there no problem when importing old save files? I remember this game giving problems when importing old save files

So, no problems with secure values and stuff?
Nope, no errors have occured on my end. Granted, I didn't use the save editor in between transfers. I just directly copied the folder I made with JKSM from the ACNL+WA update folder to the ACNLWA bundled folder and imported it.

I even tested it to be sure. As long as you have every file needed for the save (garden_plus.dat, friend1/2/3/4.dat, exhibition.dat, and updated.dat), it should work.

Hey, I made an account here to ask this total noob question, so here goes...

I have an Action Replay Powersaves, and don't have the Welcome Amiibo update for ACNL. (But I can get it) The save file extracted from Powersaves is a .bin file. Is there any way for me to convert this easily to the garden.dat file this program requires? I have used countless Homebrew guides/videos and simply cannot get it to work properly, so I'd really rather only plug my game in for the file exporting/importing part, since I've had such a bad time with messing up Homebrew... Thanks so much to anyone who can help, all I really want is to at least rename my town, haha...

No, Powersave files and these are two different things. There is no possible way to convert, sorry.
