Now It says 41 were replaced, 1st time I got 40 were replaced

IT WORKED! I just replaced Kippy with Lily, then Lily with Kippy a few times and it said "41 occurrences were replaced." after like 2 times
Now that that's out of the way, how do I get the pwp seeder to work? It doesn't do anything, just replaces the coins I lay down. I've moved my house just fine...

So, I figured out where the wallpapers and flooring for a given room are. Sadly, since my test house only has the first room and a second floor, I don't have complete information.

Main Center Room

Wall = 0x5818a - 0x5818b

Floor = 0x5818e - 0x5818f


1st floor room

Wall = 0x5848c - 0x5848d

Floor = 0x58490 - 0x58491


Basement

Wall = 0x5878e - 0x5878f

Floor = 0x58792 - 0x58793


Main Floor Right Room

Wall = 0x58a90 - 0x58a91

Floor = 0x58a94 - 0x58a95


Main Floor Left Room

Wall = 0x58d92 - 0x5bd93

Floor = 0x58d96 - 0x5bd97


Main Floor Back Room

Wall = 0x59094 - 0x59095

Floor = 0x59098 - 0x59099





As usual, reverse the bits of the item you want to replace with. If you want to change your normal walls for the Mermaid Wall (23a9), you have to replace the bits with A9 23.


I highly suggest that, if you modify your wallpaper/floor, to inject in another building, such as the police station, Re-Tail, the town hall or main street, as it can cause freezing if you're either outside, or in your house.

When testing, it froze several times for me when I was outside, but town hall worked wonderfully. I'm going to go and try to grab coordinates for the other room if I have time later.

Have you ever used that kind of program? I'm very bad at explaining, but I can go and make a tutorial later this week, if people are interested in that.

No, I have never used that program before. But do you think it will help me resolve my issue and make the ACNL town editor work?

If you're not familiar with hex-editing, I wouldn't suggest using HxD, to be honest. I'm self-taught and I still make a lot of mistakes.

Have you unstalled and reinstalled the files on your SD Card? What browser version are you using? Which errors are you getting?

I only use HxD to edit character names and your town name, you can do that without messing with the code. Even then I had to get help to learn how. Earlier on this page or the last page I posted a FAQ on someone's tumblr, there are links to tutorials on how to use the RAM editor. I'd suggest deleting all files you downloaded to hack acnl before watching on your sd card, and following along as you watch.

Yeah, this is how I learned to do things. This actually interests me more than pokemon hacking.

Now that I noticed the house components in the item list (were they there all along? i feel so stupid now), I'm going to check if I can manage to make house exterior editing a reality.

Hey does the editor have the different stages of tree grow? like for example could I plant a sapling that's had 2 days of growth or 3 instead of being fully grown?
