This game won't be definitely be boring for me.
I played the DS version, it isn't boring, it's fun, but it gets a little boring sometimes and you have nothing to do.
The thing here in new leaf is, omg, super improved graphics (3D), you're the mayor so there's a lot of projects you can work on, many more shops, better multiplayer, an island to explore, serve coffee, swim in the ocean and so much more. God, this will be awesome.

I'll get it all set up on the games release in the 3DS Wifi section, and start holding tourneys once the game is released everywhere.
I'm sure there's a ton of fun things we can do.
Fishing tourneys, Bug catching tourneys, We can set up who will Host so that we can all go to different cities to keep things fresh, Etc.
maybe even have races across the map, or fastest swim completion.
All of which will have prizes. Most likely Big Bell prizes.

I'll go ahead and pre-order this off of Amazon tonight or tomorrow. Although I probably shouldn't spend the money, hey, it's the last game I'll be able to purchase unless I get a summer job until the coming fall. That said, I might be in for some of this stuff, but considering I'm only really familiar with the Gamecube version, I'll need a few days to get used to anything really new mostly from the Wii version, as well as the additions to this game. That, and I won't have tons and tons of time to play, so don't be too surprised if I end up not being able to fully commit to things like fishing tourneys and such. That said, I also can only really do this stuff over the summer because the 3DS doesn't support my school's wifi security.

BUT ALL THAT ASIDE, I'm pretty excited.

An I plan to get it digitally, I would neglect it otherwise. Got wild world on DS and would only play it proper if it was already in the system. When I had a flash cart I played it far more often since it was kinda always there.
