Yeah, since of latest uptade Animal now works But, im lazy and don´t wanna start over... So is it possible to make the Animal Map editor to read Ds-X sav files?
Well, see, what I did for my G6(I know, it isn't a DS-X, but just try it.) is, put the save on my PC, make a backup of it. I then changed the extenstion of the save from .0 to .sav. I opened it in the map editor thing, and then once I was done editing it, I changed it back to .0 and put it back on my G6.
Maybe if you do the same with your DS-X, but instead of .0, make it whatever the DS-X save file is, then it will work. I'm not really sure, but it's worth a shot.
I think the problem lays in the compressing DS-X does.
The Map editor can read G6 apperently. So if i convert the sav file into G6 then back again to DS-X it should work.
Right?
The DS-X cart creates a compressed save file.
Now what you need to do is uncompress it. Parsaw theory might be true. So, first open the save file in some program,
remove something from there. Then rename it to a GZ comptaible file, extract that file and you got the save file.
Now, use the Anima Crossing editor and then do it backwards.
Decompress it and add the line you removed.
Now what line this is i dunno.
But, this SHOULD work if im not riding a wrong way.
Ima tinker around a bit first then report back. But, first attempt didn´t work. And readme is in ....japanease...
Edit: Ive tried several things now. None which works sadly.... But, the save file did convert it just can´t be read.
