Gaming Animal Crossing Island Transfer Tool

Anyone have any experience using the Animal Crossing Island Transfer Tool?

I'm particularly interested if it can be used to transfer an island from a hacked and banned Switch to an unhacked, unbanned Switch.

It seems like the overall procedure would work, but I'm concerned that the transferred island might carry over some data that results in the "clean" Switch receiving a ban.

Well...apparently, it IS possible to use the Animal Crossing Island Transfer Tool to move an island from a banned Switch to a clean Switch. I just did it...with the help of Nintendo Support!

Hello, thinking of doing the same, using the tool to transfer from banned switch to a clean unbanned one. Is your clean switch banned after doing this?

It should be fine, the tool only transfer the island
