ROM Hack animal crossing glitch

Hi

i seem to have a problem with my european rom of animal crossing. Every couple of minutes or so the hourly chime keeps ringing and the screen flashes to a night time scene just for a second. I've had this problem with the 1.1 version as well.
help

p.s im not using any cheats and im using on acekard with akaio 1.7.1

Update to Akaio 1.8.1
Also try reformatting your microSD card with Panasonic SD formatter, remember to backup your data first since formatting wipes out data.

It needs like an overworld thingy, like you can walk around the world and go to other towns and when our connected to wifi you can go inside your friends town anytime.
