Wow. I am amazed by your argument. It is truly well-thought out and compelling.

Of course, it's also completely balls-upwards. The main reason anyone should be strongly disapproving of Rovio and their Angry Birds fad is that they're parading around a half a billion downloads figure as if it actually means anything. 'Cause, y'know, downloading something for free doesn't mean you like the product or even care about it. It was bad enough with them spouting how well the game was selling on the App Store when the price of the game was as throw-away as you could get. When your product is either 69p or free, how can the download be worth anything? It's not like you've now got a userbase - all you've got is people who either spent a tiny amount of money for something out of curiosity or to pass a few minutes of time or you've got people who only downloaded it because it was free, so why not?

I'm admittedly sick and tired of Rovio. Not because of Angry Birds, but because of their attitude. I don't know what's worse - their exaggeration over Angry Bird's popularity or their adamant belief that console gaming is dead simply because they don't get hundreds of millions of downloads like mobile games (obviously, Rovio ignores that most console games only need one or two million sales to make as much money as a mobile game that gets a hundred million downloads and that all the mobile games that have hit such a high figure are usually free anyway).

Does anyone here know if the game is coming to Chrome too?

I sure hope so, but it probably won't. Bah.

Angry Birds has public stock, and merchandise. That's how they make their money, whether their app is free or paid.
I didn't like the trippy gravity fly-around-the-planet-15-times-before-smacking-into-a-brick-wall-and-not-doing-anything mechanism though.

The first day the game ran great (besides the aim line moving once and awhile when i took my index off) and after a second day update, the game now goes black every5 mins.
