angry birds was planned to be released on nds but it did'nt it is released for 3ds so does any one know about rovio planning to make 1 for ds....luv dat game

I don't think Ninty (or their 3rd party's) will release any more GOOD games for the old DS. Since it's hacked, there is no money to be made with it anymore. Maybe a few region ports and lots of shovelware though.

Have to agree with saberjoy. If it comes out at all it would be on 3ds eshop and/or WiiWare. Where, like cut the rope it would probably be 5-6$, which is a lot for a game that everybody already has for free/99 cents.

Meh. If anything it will come as eshop junk. And everyone already has a smart phone so theres no reason to get it for the DS.

angry bird is extremely overrated

Best dollar I've ever spent. Excellent time waster, fun, and is actually re-playable. Overrated? I think not.
i've played better trajectory-based games. Worms, for one. Angry Birds is just more accessible, simpler. you don't have to be a gamer to play it.

The reason Angry Birds is good is because it's a casual pick up and play whilst on a train or whilst sitting down, anytime, really.
I find it alright but not something that will keep me entertained for more than 10-15 mins.

There is an almost identical game for the DS, something to do with animal rubber bands...
OOOHH YEAH you just jogged my memory, good sir.

lol.. Angry Birds is very high populated, and i am pretty sure it will not make a release for the DS. If they did make a Angry Birds Game, it would be for the 3DS, and also to download from the eShop.

The problem with Angry Birds is that, at least in the various versions I've played, non-touch-based controls are terrible, and if a DS/3DS version just goes for the touch screen (which is a bit harder to use than the capacitive screen on my smart phone), then I see no point in buying it. Of course if you don't have a smartphone, go ahead and buy it, good for you. But that's the only logical reason I can imagine anyone buying a DS/3DS version.
