Why cant you just connect your microSD card with Android to your PC and transfer ROMS to it that way?

Can't access the fat32 partition from within android.

So gotta use a fat32 usb drive with the dock, and for anything over 4 gbs in size, ftp which is slow as molasis.

Because the 2 GB fat32 partition, the only one visible in your PC, isn't mounted while executing LineageOS (unless rooted, but it's not required to use Android on your switch).
And the partition containing LineageOS, the one where you should put any file your want to use in Lineage, isn't visible on your PC (ext4 filesystem).

It a limitation of this first beta. Let's see if it can be improved with the next versions.

For Users who are not able to to get any USB Drives working, while using the Dock.........try removing the Switch Game Card. Works perfectly, however you will need to use a App like xplore

Now just have to test and see if this will Improve the LAN . I dont know WTF was going on, but when I tested it last Night, it seemed to want to be like Dial-Up :angry::angry:
Not to mention it seemed like when I was wanting to DL GTA-SA and GTA-VC, it was the same thing

You could use DiskInternals Linux Reader on a PC to access the ext4 filesystem. I use that often with Raspberry Pi 3 images.

I tried that initially but despite using an 128gb microSD you can only access 2 gb of storage after flashing the card for android.

Even then I'm not sure a file manager would be able to access them. (I could be wrong).

Somebody beat me to this answer, sorry.

So what are the best emulators that folks have found for this? I tried FPSe, but it didn't run too great, Dolphin, which really depends on the game, and Gameboid (gba). Gameboid is alright, but I swear it had sound issues.

Interested in emulators for

SNES
Megadrive
PSX
GB/GBC
GBA
DreamCast
NDS
PSP

Having Issues with the Joycons. Especially with MAME. So for some, you will need to use a Bluetooth Controller.

Have you flashed the joycon fix? It fixes alot of problems with the joycons.
Yes I did. But there needs to be a autoconfig or someone needs to get them Configured for RetroArch so they can work properly. I did manage to get MAME4Droid (0.139u1) working, due to it having a Configuration where you can set the Mappings.

Hhhm weird. The joycon fix fixed all the problems I had with my joycons. Hopefully there is a fix for mame4droid soon.

UPDATE - For the MAME Cores in RetroArch, you need a Keyboard to map specific Functions. One being, the Config Menu (Tab Key to show MAME Menu while In-Game). However, you will need to have the Retropad active under the On-Screen Display.

I keep getting "Nvidia games has stopped working" and stuff like that... so I can't even enter the app... how do we fix this? It's really frustrating the fuck outta me.
