So recently, I discovered Mouryou Senki MADARA, a Japanese RPG, and better yet, a fan translation of the game exists. So I've been playing it on the Wii lately, however, it has one small problem: A Wii isn't very... Portable. So I grabbed a few emulators from the Play Store and ran the game in it. However, all of the emulators I've tried has one of two things:

    1. If the VRC6 sound chip is supported, the sound is one octave too low, and the graphics are incredibly glitchy.
    2. If the graphics work perfectly fine, the sound chip doesn't work and the music sounds like crap.

Has anyone tried getting this JRPG to work on their phone, and better yet, is it 100% compatible on anything?

    NESoid
    John NES
    NES-FC
Mojo NES (This just crashes and burns.)
    NES.emu
    NESDroid
RetroArch (This has the graphical/audio issues, but it also lags like bloody hell)

I do have a rooted phone, so I know I have a multitude of other options if need be.

So I currently have a running list of emulators I've tried above, and if you want to know my phone model, it's a Samsung Galaxy Ace II x.

I know this is an old topic and maybe you have solved your problem, but, have you tried Nes.emu latest version (1.5.12)? Madara runs good, no sound or glitch issues... btw nice game!

I don't know if it affects anything but that is a clone version of NES.emu not by the original dev.

I went and bought it and tested it, to the same result. It's still having the graphical bugs. I'm thinking that it might be that I'm running a shit phone or that I'm still on Ice Cream Sandwich.

I found the problem. I get the same error you do on NES.emu when the video is forced to pal. Force it to NTSC and it should work.
