Ok, so i couldn't download any apps from the android market on account of it devouring my credit everytime i even accidentally clicked it buuuuuuut I was looking on google play because I really want instagram it wouldn't let me download it coz "there is no device associated with this account" so I downloaded this app injector thing and then restarted my computer. My phone came up on the side thing and said I could download it D so yeah a few clicks later it said it would download shortly it hasn't yet (30 mins later) there is no sign of it even starting to download please help me

Are you using the web interface? Why can't you just download it from the Play Store on your phone? What is "this app injector thing"?

Are you sure the gmail account you are using is tied to your phone? The "there is no device associated with this account" error only shows up using the web interface when you haven't tied the account, just type in your gmail account and it should work.

Assuming you have wireless internet at home, if you only use market/play store while connected to Wifi and turn off all automatic updates it won't charge you

As the others said, on the phone if you go into the "Settings>Accounts and Sync" menu and add your google account then it should pick your phone up just fine. Untick the sync boxes if you don't want it to automatically pick up contacts/calendar/email info and you're sorted.

That's what I said, although using different words... When it mentions the error "there is no device associated with this account" it's because that the phone isn't linked to the google account.

Settings -> Apps -> Market -> Clear data and cache.

Should work now.

Yeah, but I mentioned it to imply that you don't need an "app injector" of any sort.

You can set a pin code in the market settings to prevent accidental purchases through the phone..
