Lets just hope this isnt the start of the end!

(digital) piracy has been around since the invention of the audio cassette, and I am sure someone was around before then knocking out dodgy vinyl.

pirates never die, they just adapt!

this is the law's point of view "omfg you are stealing/copying/counterfeiting games! homebrew? is that another name for a copied DS game? there was no chance you were using this for legit purposes"

That's what i think

Actually, nobody would stop you because everything you are doing is perfectly legal, on the contrary if you sold the copied books then somebody would hunt you down.

I couldnt believe this when i read it this morning. You dont actually see the cards in many high street game shops anyways, its mainly internet retailers that sell them.

On a different note, according to this -

Official statements by the Entertainment and Leisure Publishers Association claim that the hardware irreparably damages the DS handhelds.

Are they having a laugh or what?

wasnt ther eonf of the bootleg R4 clones that had a dodgy wire or something that could let thru too much power, thus bricking the DS?

When i my mom heard about this she thought i would be the next guy to be busted for selling flashcards until i told her he had about 3000
