So randomly my acekard 2i wont load instead of loading it goes to a screen that says.

An error has occurred. Press and hold the Power Button to turn the system off. Please see the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for help troubleshooting.

I tried reformatting the micro sd card but still does the same thing. Is this fixable or is my cart broken?

If he says it randomly stopped working, then that means it was working before...

That is correct. I've had it for almost a year now and its always worked. I'm honestly thinking its broken because i did order it from deal extreme and aren't they in hong kong?

Though nothing changed and i didn't drop it or anything so i'm wondering why this happened.

If i'm lucky someone else here has encountered this and knows how to fix it. Otherwise i'ma have to buy a new one. If thats the case i will probably buy a different cart.

Have a look at the contacts on the Acekard, perhaps the PCB inside has moved over time and now no longer aligns with those in the DSi

Here's two of mine for you to compare it to, you can see the contacts on the bottom cart are to far to the left. Still works, but i'm surprised.

Give the inside your DSi's cart slot a clean with a cotton bud.

You could try sliding something non-conductive underneath the PCB to raise the contacts up:

If you get the same error without a MicroSD card inserted then you can rule out anything to with your MicroSD or what's installed on it. Even without a MicroSD inserted, you will still get as fair as AKAIO's Loading after the DS health warning screen.

Acekard say they offer a 1 year warrenty for genuine carts, so try emailing them and also email dealextreme.

My contacts are still aligned and dont seem to be out of place.

Very good advice though.

I am going to try and get the warranty to cover it. I hope they aren't too difficult to contact.
